Message from the Initiators
From S. David Prince
Everyone who knows me knows I love creating websites. I have a lot of Digital projects at hand and most of my projects have been self-sponsored. Leaving Journalism, personal hobbies and my Digital hustles aside, my middle scale Agribusiness is still my biggest source of income. I've been raised in it since age 10 and my passion for agriculture runs deep. I’ve been a catfish farmer on a middle scale, while also venturing into rabbit farming, poultry, and turkey rearing on a smaller scale.
Five years ago, while working as an intern agriculture reporter at Business Post, I wrote a guide on starting and managing a successful catfish farm. Many farmers reached out for more info, consultations and resources. I even self published a book for catfish farmers that has helped beginners and experienced farmers alike.
AgriAxis has been a long-time dream, but funding has delayed it. Today, I study Law in a private university, almost all my savings are pumped into it and my farming activities is on hold for now, but I still want to keep agriculture alive in my heart and share knowledge with others.
When I spoke with Mr. Victor, who shared the same Idea and highlighted his community like vision, he convinced me and I knew it was time.
From Victor
Victor is a fresh graduate from FUNAAB ( Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta ), already rearing goats at a small scale in his backyard, with plans to expand into cattle and other agriventures.
His energy and enthusiasm pushed us to finally Start AgriAxis in August 2025, even without full branding or identity.
