Mrs. Nwali, the Council Chairperson, explained that the trees, which include mango, cashew, orange, and rubber, will be planted in schools, farms, and communities. The palm seedlings are being distributed to community leaders and residents to encourage both private and communal farming. The local government is providing the trees at no cost and overseeing the planting process.
Mrs. Nwali also said that all government officials in the area have been directed to maintain personal farms. She emphasized that "no land in Ezza South should remain unused."
